A seldom viewed selection of Lichtenstein's art that drew inspiration from Native American symbols, motifs and forms will be presented with examples of Native American art. This exhibition will underscore the on-going dialogue between Native American artists and non-Natives.
Roy Lichtenstein: American Indian Encounters presented by the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation is organized by the Montclair Art Museum in conjunction with the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation.
